This afternoon while preparing food for the week ahead Paloma wanted to help but wasn't sure how. I thought perhaps a little game of popcorn would keep her little hands busy and help her feel like she was involved in the kitchen activity a tad. She played and played. She'd scoop and dump kernels, pick and place them one by one and plunge her hand into the jar and feel around. Later in the day, after we'd picked up and put away she spotted the jar high in the cupboard and said "Oooohhhhh!" Another day, sweet girl, another day.
